Fantastic Cuban Restaurant. They are best known for their sandwiches. Please don't be afraid to try their other dishes. Sometimes the wait times during lunch are longer than I think they should be 10-20 minutes before you place your order. After the order is placed they are quick about getting your food out to you.
Owners have been in the US so long that they forgot what real cuban food is. This is very AMERICANIZED. You can tell by the lack of cubans and latinos who dine there. Food is Ok, portions are too small and its very overpriced. Staff is not very friendly and owners go out of their way to ignore common folks and act all friendly to the socialites of the town.
Service was horrible, from spillng ice to not knowing menu at all...waited over an hour for appetizers...then over another hour for main meal...when questioned about timing, excuse after excuse was given...when we got there, only 2 other tables were taken...restaurant filled up and we still hadn't received meal...absolutely no offer was given to correct or apologize for this...it was like "oh well"..then to top it off..food was aweful..potato tasted like some boxed rendition of twice baked and COLD...salad was not fresh at all...chicken was thin and burnt...steak was ok, not good or near great...would not recommend or ever go back
