Clean room. Could have put some shampoo in with the soap. One of the legs on the table dropped to the floor.
Stayed here right @ 7weeks for work. Great value. Staff was excellent and rooms were what you would expect for the $$$. If your not expecting 4-5 star hotel then you absolutely will get more than what you pay for with this hotel had king size bed and room was accommodating for an extended stay. I am returning after the holidays and will 100% be staying there again. Would give 4 stars for the staff and accommodations...However there are some personalities that you come across when you stay at a less expensive establishment that are less than desirable. All in All good value and acceptable accommodations for the $$$.
This Motel 6 location has put me against Motel 6 as a whole and any other MOTEL/HOTEL/HOLIDAY INN where the guest enter from the outside.
I booked 2 days last weekend. I told the manager if I received a full refund I wouldn't write this review, now I'm writing the review. Needless to say, I didn't get a refund. One of my main issues (meaning there's more) were the A/C. It was broke. It did not cool at all. I did an External "Non-Intrusive" Inspection on the A/C Unit and found that it wasn't maintenance in awhile. That tells me that there's not a Preventative Maintenance Procedure in place or the current procedure isn't properly being executed. The Outside temperature was pushing 100 degrees so how much more the inside. I called the front desk and she pretty much told me that there's not much she can do and for me to call the owner in the morning. I had no choice but to check out then check into the Hampton Inn. Come to find out (taking a glance at the log book), I was the 3rd guest to check in and check out that day. I'm sure the other guest had some of the same issues e.g. Horrible scent, spots on the bed sheets, no A/C, people hanging out on the balcony smoking something other than taxable tobacco, folks that's hanging outside talking extremely loud, cheap toilet tissue, etc...
I returned the next day but the owner wasn't there. The front desk clerk said that she will get my message to the owner requesting my refund. I reached out later that day to find out that my refund was denied.
It was very positive. Staff was greatly helpful. The room was excellent and the atmosphere superior.
Although this place was just purchased from Best Western and reopened with the new brand last June don't think it was actually renovated.
The hotel itself was nice. I know motel 6 gets a pretty bad rep. It was conveniently located and the room was to bad either. Until we walked into the bathroom. It was disgusting. The toilet was still dirty extremely dirty. To disgusting to describe. The bathroom had ashes all over in it. We ended up having to clean the bathroom ourselves. They didn't offer any toiletries. After the bathroom I was pretty disgusted.
Good enough to put your head down and get good rest.
